Sally Arnup was one of the worlds leading animal sculptors. She studied at Kingston and Camberwell schools of art and at the Royal College. She lived in Yorkshire for much of her adult life with her husband and family, all of whom were artists.
Sally’s repertoire was extraordinary. Any animals that she came across were likely to become her models, whether they were furry, feathered, hairy or scaly, and whether they were wild, domesticated, farmed or in a zoo.

The Holtby Studios are open every day. The gallery shows Sally's extensive stock of bronzes, Mick Arnup's paintings and Pottery, along with Hannah Arnup's ceramics.
An exhibition of Sally and Mick's output will be held at Holtby Studios opening on Saturday 8th July until 16th July. Hours: 10am to 6 pm each day.
